website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the site. Google may process information such as pages viewed, interactions, browser and device details, referring pages, approximate location, and network information, and may set analytics cookies. We use this information in aggregate rather than to identify individual listeners. You can limit cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out tools.
email list
If you join the email list, we store the email address you submit and the signup time. We use it only for dreams are lonely music, streaming, store, and live updates. You can ask to be removed at any time by emailing hello@dreamsarelonely.com.
store links and earlier orders
New purchases take place on cantstoprecords.com under that site’s privacy and purchase policies. This website no longer creates carts or accepts payments. For orders previously placed here, we retain the details needed for fulfillment and support, including names, email and shipping addresses, products, amounts, and Stripe transaction identifiers. We do not store complete payment-card numbers.
cookies and local storage
The music player may store a volume preference under dal_player_volume. The retired local cart is cleared when you visit this site with JavaScript enabled; you can also remove it by clearing browser data. Google Analytics may use its own cookies or similar browser storage. Administrative sign-in uses a secure session cookie.
hosting, service providers, and external links
DreamHost hosts the website and may process ordinary server logs. Stripe supports verification and fulfillment of earlier orders. New purchases are handled on Can’t Stop Records. Google provides Analytics. Links to streaming services, Twitch, YouTube, social platforms, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. We do not sell personal information. We share information only with providers needed to operate the site, support earlier orders, comply with law, or protect the site and its users.
retention and security
Newsletter addresses remain until they are removed. Order information is kept as reasonably needed for fulfillment, accounting, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. We use access controls, HTTPS, signed Stripe webhooks, and private server storage, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

You may ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or leave the email list by contacting hello@dreamsarelonely.com. We may need to retain records required for completed transactions, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or legitimate business records. Rights can vary by location.
